About Us

Astrid Lakats, a Chartered Accountant, began her practice in 1990. Prior to that she worked for Deloitte and Touche in Toronto as an audit manager. She received her MBA from York University and her B.SC. in Zoology from the University of Toronto. She has taught business courses at York University and in the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) program.

Astrid has presented many seminars on tax planning, growing your business and succession planning. Astrid's community minded spirit is reflected through her involvement in the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, where she was Treasurer and served on the Board of Directors. In her spare time she enjoys playing squash and loves to spend time with her family.
